Design Note: Engineering Priorities for Proof-of-Concept Electronics

Some notes on the decisions that go into designing electronics for an engineering Proof of Concept. Summary: A lot can get stripped out of this design, but using off-the-shelf components that take care of specific functions allows us to rapidly assess whether our product requirements are borne out in the real world.
